Our Story

Access Church Ministries started as a dream to help equip churches and ministries in being accessible for everyone. It exists to reflect the heart of Christ by becoming communities where people of all abilities are welcomed, discipled, and empowered.

Abigail, our founder, experienced what church was like without support through witnessing her brother's and peers' experiences. In her professional career she began working in behavioural and disability support within schools and churches. After seeing countless families leave church due to inaccessibility, Abigail was determined to make church accessible.

Now, through Access Church Ministries, this dream and passion is a reality. In addition to curriculum and resource development, Access Church Ministry intentionally comes alongside churches and equips them in accessibility / disability ministry. Through tailored trainings, resource development, and intentional partnership, churches are catching this vision and fulfilling this dream.

This ministry is an extension of the fruitful local ministry. Helping to equip and assist churches from all over through our resource development and trainings.
